Competitive Mode: Ownership and Earnings

In Competitive mode, players will have the opportunity to genuinely own their assets and earn a respectable income from playing "The Sphinx Playland." While the revenue users receive won't be life-changing, it can serve as an incentive to continue playing the game and potentially recoup some of the funds they've invested in the game.

Because our intention is for people to play for enjoyment rather than solely for financial gain, "The Sphinx Playland" emphasizes the ownership aspect of the game. This approach aims to eliminate the casino-like ambiance that could attract undesirable users—those who engage in playing "MetaStar Strikers" primarily for monetary reasons.

Much of this gameplay loop resembles the freemium model. However, by entering the "Score & Own" loop, players will unlock the following features:

• Participate in ranked leagues and tournaments.

• Refine and train strikers during idle periods.

• Earn UP Network(UP) currency through tournaments.

• If a player owns a stadium, they can personalize it with cosmetics and other items to enhance player performance.

In essence, participation in this mode introduces players to the more competitive facet of "The Sphinx Playland." It also provides the opportunity to earn UP Network(UP) currency, the in-game monetization mechanism enabling players to make in-game purchases.

How to Unlock Competitive Mode?

To initiate the Competitive mode loop, players must expend UP Network(UP) tokens to acquire a digital collectible in the game: the Sphinx Pet NFT.

Regardless of the digital collectible they choose to acquire, players will immediately benefit from the advantages and features offered within this cycle.
